CAMP 3 news and analysis

Whilst we all stare at Andrew's arrest, the NHS is in Cardiac Arrest and no one notices.

Welcome to the lounge, pull up a chair, pop the kettle on, perhaps a biscuit or two and relax.

It's February 19, 2026, and the headlines are screaming one name: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, arrested today at Sandringham on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Tied to fresh drips from the Epstein files—allegations he passed confidential UK trade info to the late sex offender during his envoy days.

Cozy room with Union Jack decor, coffee on table. Headlines: "Andrew Formerly Known As Prince Arrested" and NHS crisis in hospital.

King Charles meanwhile, says the law must take its course (yawn). When it chooses the monarchy distances itself, how convenient. The public gawps.

Meanwhile Chase Farm Hospital in North London has removed a plaque when it was opened in 2019 by the disgraced ex Prince. On a personal note, I was even more horrified to learn he was patron of my teaching hospital, The Royal Free Hospital in London. Let’s stay with health.

The NHS is in freefall, and nobody's blinking. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support after reading my last blog. Many of you have asked me to concentrate on NHS and UK news. My wish is your command 😊

Let’s look at some of the NHS and health headlines you may have missed during the frenzied Epstein revelations.

Norovirus

According to the NHS we are in for, ding ding, ROUND 2 of a surge in Norovirus cases. For those unfamiliar, it is more commonly known as the winter vomiting bug. Apparently, there are 1,012 patients in hospital every day. Errr yes, that is because Norovirus is unfortunately a regular visitor to our hospitals EVERY year. This in reality means that your loved ones who may have contracted it IN hospital as an inpatient, may now be locked up without visitors.

My best advice for anyone suffering from norovirus is to SIP plenty of fluids. No gulping all at once, it may not stay down for long! Constant sipping should keep you hydrated.  Ice pops to suck or ice cubes if you don’t fancy drinking. HYDRATION is all important, and of course stay near a loo and WASH your hands! Electrolyte replacement therapy can be purchased at pharmacies, a must for your first aid kit moving forward. Most people make a good recovery from Norovirus.

National Vaccination Programme

If you were in any doubt that spring and summer would eradicate the need for a jab. Think again. Far from doubling down on the vaccination programme, the UK is working at pace to ensure we are all up to date with our jabs.

HOWEVER, how many jabs are you now expected to have? I think many will be shocked. I tried to count but there were too many. And note how many jabs children and pregnant women are being asked to take. Don’t take my word for it, have a read yourself.

But what if you don’t want a jab. Tough, the NHS will make it very difficult for you to say no. They will be making sure you have all the information (texts, emails and phone calls). They will advise you on your eligibility and book it for you! They will also make sure you don’t have far to go to, ‘grab that jab’. But in the small print you may notice it states:

“Check that people are receiving their vaccinations as WE expect so that WE can take measures to support our vaccination providers in areas of low uptake”

To me, that means the NHS will come looking for you. Or am I being overly suspicious? I will be discussing this more and revealing a very concerning. For now I will leave you with one final word…measles. Watch this space.

Waiting for a HIP or KNEE REPLACEMENT? Orthopaedic surgery in jeopardy

If you are waiting for a hip or knee replacement, you may have to wait a lot longer than you’d hope for! There is a cement shortage!!  There is a global supply issue from the NHS’s main provider (Heraeus Medical) of bone cement. According to reports the NHS has about 2 weeks supply left. Bone cement is used to anchor artificial joints and fills the space between the new joint and the patient’s bone, so pretty important in the bigger picture.

Whilst those waiting for elective surgery may be concerned, spare a thought for anyone who in involved in an accident and who may need immediate surgery? What then? And which cement will be in short supply next? Dental cement?

Cholera in the UK

An elderly man in Warwickshire, thought originally to have norovirus has died of what is thought to be Cholera. Really? How can one person die of something not yet proven, OR has it? Let’s cast our minds back to the 1800’s where it was responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. How? Contaminated water. Most of you who are reading this will know I have a special interest in water.

Cholera was a disease of the past, eradicated from the UK. However, it is easily transmitted by eating and drinking contaminated food and water. Remembering the high prevalence in Africa and Asia, we should take note of its infiltration into Europe, how and when this happened.

Rest assured, my eyes are firmly on this story. Keep tuned for updates involving water contamination.

Trans Toddlers

Yes, you read right. Under 7’s will be seen at local NHS clinics…who are wishing to TRANS GENDER. I have no words except wicked. The world’s biggest NHS PATHWAYS HORIZON study into trans gender children can be found here.

Burkhoderia stabilis AND non sterile alcohol free wipes

Not your native plant that flowers in springtime. On the contrary, Burkhoderia are a type of bacteria normally found in soil and WATER. For most of us it won’t ever affect us, however certain non-sterile alcohol-free wipes have been linked to a recent outbreak in the UK. If you are concerned and want to know WHICH wipes, please click here. Will you be checking your first aid box?

My final personal comment on this matter is of the UKHSA’s continual reference to antimicrobial resistance. I believe they are still searching madly for Disease X. What thinks you?

Dear Doctor, the Bailiffs are coming for you.

Did you know doctors are being threatened with legal action, including visits from the bailiffs and county court judgements….if…..they don’t repay salary that has been paid to them mistakenly. No fault of theirs. Some doctors reported the overpayments at the time to avoid formal action. An investigation from the BBC has revealed that thousands of NHS staff were being referred to debt collectors. Can the NHS become anymore incompetent?

WORLD FIRST NHS Genetic Register

How many people will decide to go for ‘cancer’ screening? I have been reporting for years of the dangers of tests and screening procedures. How accurate is the screening. What is a gene anyway (raises eyebrow).

The NHS are inviting us all to get gene tested. Perhaps we may develop cancer or another disease in 20 years. It would be helpful to know, wouldn’t it? It’s a no from me. The WORLD’S first genetic register is now up and running thanks to the good old NHS. All part of the UK Life Science agenda. Remember the UK produces nothing; its only assets and commodities worth anything are US. We are the lab rats for the rest of the world. Fact.

Take note, if there is a history of cancer in your family, you will be invited for tests and you will be able to access the new era of ‘cancer detection’, enabling more to participate in clinical trials (experiments), and ‘tailored personalised’ treatment (raises another eyebrow). Will you agree?

Morrisons Pharmacies

Do you rely on a pharmacy in Morrisons for your prescription? Not for much longer. Morrisons are selling dozens of instore pharmacies to reduce costs. But what does this mean for the staff and public? No one appears to know. But expect Drone deliveries inbound

UK Biobank gets access to GP records

Blink and you may have missed this. UK Biobank will now have access to your data via your GP. Let that sink in.

“10 February 2026, the UK Government has published a data provision notice, which paves the way for coded GP patient data in England, also known as primary care data, to be shared with consented cohorts like UK Biobank. NHS England will now be responsible, and legally liable, for these data, removing the burden of responsibility and liability from busy GP

For the NHS this is a gamechanger. For us, it’s a game ender. Do you consent to this? Were you even asked? I wasn’t. I don’t consent.

Stroke survivors TRIAL AT HOME TECH

How do you fancy participating in a trial that involves having a small electrical device that sits inside the ear stimulating the Vagus nerve which is the superhighway that connects the brain to the abdomen. This is the TRICEPS trial which aims to restore function in the arm after a stroke. Whilst some may herald this as a breakthrough and claim it has given them their life back, bear in mind this device needs to be implanted under a general anaesthetic and stimulation has to be given in a hospital environment.

Add all of the above to just some of the many other NHS stories currently in the news. Breast cancer services harm dozens; psychiatric units bully vulnerable patients; water contaminated hospital scandals drag on.

The system's cracking under winter pressure, staff burnout, and chronic underfunding. Yet today's dominant story? A disgraced royal in cuffs over Epstein ties.

Coincidence? Or classic deflection?

The Epstein web implicates far bigger fish including billionaires, politicians, global elites.

Andrew's the easy target: already humiliated, titles stripped, easy to parade as justice served. Arrest him on his 66th birthday, raid the estates, feed the outrage machine. Everyone debates blue mattresses and royal fall from grace while real people suffer in A&E corridors or die on ever-lengthening lists.

This isn't accountability—it's sleight of hand. Sacrifice the embarrassing Duke to distract from the failing institution that's supposed to save lives. The monarchy survives scandals; the NHS might not survive this neglect.

Wake up. The real scandal isn't one man's arrest. It's millions waiting in pain while the news cycle feasts on royalty. Demand fixes for the NHS before another headline buries another crisis. Because distractions don't heal broken bodies.

I could go on; however, I am sure you are all ready for a cup of tea or something a little stronger now.

Of course there is plenty of other news circulating at the moment.  Restore, Reform or Reclaim? Perhaps Refrain may be my message! Let’s end on the weather!

Cold weather

I am fed up with the constant rain, I bet the majority of you reading are too. In the UK we have seen rain every day for seemingly ever. Is it deliberate, in my opinion it has to be. Miserable weather means miserable people and let’s face it that is the aim of the Government! In 2026, it appears we cannot deal with cold weather without the advice from the UKHSA. Whatever did we do back in the old days when Public Health England didn’t exist let alone the UKHSA.

Now we turn our attention towards snow and ice. Never a good mix for those of us who may be in the winter of our lives. I am sure many of you dread a fall which may result in a visit to the local A/E department or worse an operating theatre (cement allowing). If you feel you can need the UKHSA’s advice to stay alive during cold weather Click here.

Brrr, wrap up warm. Thank you for reading, please feel free to comment and suggest other topics you would like me to try and cover. There is so much news it is difficult to know where to start! Very special thanks to everyone who is contributing to Camp 3 including this week the wonderful Dr Ursula Edgington, reporting on 15 minute cities Chinese style. Don’t miss it.

Ant and I will continue our usual weekly banter on Friday’s at 2pm. Please join us for the live and have your say. We would love to see you. As we have stated before, Camp 3 is a genuine labour of love for which we expect no financial reward. We are all on a journey to find the truth. No hidden agenda, no secrets and certainly no lies.

Until next time

God Bless

Debi

Mathew 24:6

You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
