The Midas Touch - Greenland AND The Golden Dome

Gold appears to be President Donald Trumps favourite colour. Golden cards, golden escalators and now golden domes. Certainly Trump thinks he has the Midas touch when it comes to doing business. What is the first thing you see when you look at a picture of Jerusalem? A golden dome? The Dome of the Rock.

Golden Dome is Trump's proposed next-gen missile defence shield—like a beefed-up Israeli Iron Dome but for the whole of the U.S. It will be built using space-based sensors, interceptors, and ground systems to stop ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles early, especially from Russia or China.
Greenland's relevance comes from its Arctic spot right under potential Intercontinental Ballistic Missile flight paths over the pole.
The U.S. already runs Pituffik Space Base (old Thule Air Base) with super-important early-warning radars that spot launches way sooner.
Trump says owning Greenland outright would make Golden Dome way more effective—better satellite comms, ground stations for polar orbits, possible interceptor sites, and no lease hassles with Denmark. He's tied it directly to his push for control there.
And what did happen to Camp Century? That's the old secret Cold War underground base from the nineteen fifties to sixties, nuclear-powered and buried in the ice sheet. It was for Project Iceworm—basically hiding nuclear missiles—but got abandoned, or did it?
Do you believe Trump? Or is there a hidden agenda?
